2026 My Place 3.0 Photography Workshop

BigTown Projects is pleased to announce the third installment of the My Place Photography Workshop series, led by Jim Dow & Cassandra Klos.

The workshop will take place August 6–16, with four days held on site at BigTown Gallery in Rochester, Vermont.

This 10-day professional development intensive offers substantial one-on-one instruction and critique, along with an immersive cultural experience in Rochester that includes participation in the Wild & Scenic Film Festival and a conversation with Cassandra Klos. 

The workshop culminates in a group exhibition on view for six weeks at the gallery.

The workshop is intentionally limited to a small cohort of up to eight participants, selected from the applicant pool one week after submissions close. This small group format allows for deep engagement with the instructors, sustained feedback, and the development of a supportive working community that often continues beyond the workshop itself.
